We are pleased to announce the release of version 1.7 of the erasmus Bible app for Windows, Mac, and Android. The focus of this release is to make it easier to dig into the original language for those who want to do deeper study. We’ve added Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament to the Deluxe library. We’ve also introduced the Ultimate library, which contains everything in all of the other libraries, plus the Westcott-Hort Greek New Testament, and the Englishman’s Greek Concordance.
We’ve introduced the Englishman’s Search feature which allows you to search the Englishman’s concordance data by Strong’s number, Greek word, transliterated Greek word, Hebrew word, or transliterated Hebrew word. You can also search for English words and the Englishman’s search will find all places where the original Greek or Hebrew is translated into that English word.
erasmus V1.7 also adds Quick Notes - a scratch pad where you can jot down your thoughts and observations. There is also a Setup dialog that makes it easy to customize your erasmus experience. This release also has numerous app fixes and improvements, making it even easier to use, in addition to minor formatting corrections in many existing reference works, and additional content for the hymnal and devotionals.
