We are pleased to announce the release of erasmus version 1.8, available immediately for all platforms. This latest release includes several new and enhanced features. The new Study Note feature allows you to create detailed notes during your Bible study. While Quick Notes provide an unstructured scratchpad for jotting down random short thoughts, the Study Note feature allows you to organize your notes by verse reference. Your notes can be cursory, or you can create your own extensive commentary, or anything in-between. Even better, your study notes operate within the app as do all of the provided reference works - except that you can add to and modify them as you study. Study notes participate in cross-references, multipane commentary views, and entire-library searches, among the other features of standard commentaries. Both the Quick Notes and Study Notes editors have optional Greek and Hebrew virtual keyboards if you want to include original language text.
We have extended support for Android and iOS, allowing you to use attached mice and keyboards. The Prayer Journal has been enhanced with additional editing features and guided prayer list creation, making it even easier to use. In addition, numerous UI elements have been improved or fixed.
Various corrections and updates have been made to several reference works in the libraries. The Ultimate Library has been upgraded to include the following new reference works:
Matthew Henry Commentary: The complete commentary by Matthew Henry (the Concise commentary will still remain available).
Englishman's Hebrew and Chaldee Concordance: Also known as the Old Testament Englishman's Concordance. This complements the Greek Englishman's Concordance.
Covenantal Supersessionism: An exploration of what the Scripture has to say about the topic of covenantal supersessionism, considering both dispensationalist and covenantal perspectives.
Websters 1913 Unabridged Dictionary: The gold standard for English dictionaries, this is now the default when you tap on a word and ask for more information on it (requires that you have the Ultimate library installed).
